Digital Drive Interview with Dave Finnegan, Customer Experience Officer at The Orvis Company

This was a very fun interview to host! Dave and I discuss his interesting background with Build-A-Bear Workshop where he worked for nearly fifteen years, serving as their Chief Information Officer. Then in 2014, Dave joined The Orvis Company where he is the Customer Experience Officer bringing together Marketing, Creative, and Technology with ONE mission: to deliver great customer experiences!

Dave serves on the Executive Committee of the National Retail Federation-CMO Council. He also serves on the Retail Analytics board at Northwestern, and has formerly been the CIO sponsor of the Knowledge @ Wharton program.

Dave has been recognized with several awards over his career, from the Top 100 CIOs by CIO Magazine to Omni Channel Innovation award given by Retail Connections magazine. Dave’s work has also been featured in numerous publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Ad Age, Retail Information Systems News and Retail Connections.
