Lee draws on his vast experience in investment banking to deliver digital transformation to various industries. He discusses a trend he observes today among companies in the same industry where they are collaborating to create industry standards via digitization. Augmented intelligence is also revolutionizing the way companies do business by giving their people the ability not just to understand their data, but to lead them to ask them the right questions and predict the future. Lee is a firm believer that, to predict people and the future, you have to first understand the patterns of the past and this is the perspective he brings to the table. HIGHLIGHTS Digital transformation in fintech with investment banking experience Developing industry standards through digitization to automate processes Augmented Intelligence helps people understand what the data shows Starting his podcast as a platform for his future-forward ideas The key to effective sales is to understand people QUOTES Lee: “Why should they have ten different systems? What if they just create an industry standard? And so that was something that we worked very closely on at Microsoft was helping this industry and many others that we did similar projects with to build a sort of industry consortium.” Lee: “We want to help you figure out what to be querying of your data. You might not even know the questions to ask, and that’s a big part of what we do is help you figure out what are the questions to ask. Where should you be focusing your time and attention?” Lee: “I’m a big believer, in general, that one of the most valuable skills you can have is just being able to predict the future with a higher degree of accuracy than the next person can. I’m a big believer that the way that you build out that muscle is by understanding the past and by understanding people.” Lee: “Sales is education and it’s about understanding the people that you’re speaking to, empathizing with them, and then being able to educate them on why this is good. The sale happens almost as an afterthought. It happens automatically if you can show someone the value of your product.” Find out more about Lee in the links below: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/leebressler/ Substack Subscription: https://leebressler.substack.com/subs…
